I do mine every 5k and use mobile 1. If I where using none sythetic I might go 4k, but I drive it hard. Honestly, best thing to do is follow the manufacture. I worked for a car brand that's service interval was every 10k or 12 months, and I have never seen an engine fail that recived scedued maintenance, one brand at my dealer even went to 15k. So, to each his own. Just rebemember, oil is the life blood of your engine.

i agree.. engines are built better, machined better, oils and filters are better. i don't buy into the 5k hype either but to each their own. it won't hurt your car to change it every 5k so let them waste their money for what miniscule wear it would prevent.
