Pedal placement/style ideas for 5-speed LS
As we all know...the stock LS pedals are horrible for rev matching, since the accelerator pedal is significantly lower than the brake, not to mention so far off the right that some individuals can fit the width of their shoe between the two pedals.
I want to start building tuning the car for light autocross use...but nothing I do will matter until mY pedal problem is fixed.
has anyone found a way to make it easier to heel and toe? Two of my friends have done different things.
One bought two sets of aluminum/rubber pedals. He putthe brake pedal from an automatic, so that the gap is bridged. The second somehow raised up his accelerator pedal (I think he put something under the pedal and drilled through both).
I'm thinking it's a nice try...but seems clunky/ghetto to me.
Help anyone? This pedal arrangement sucks.

it's not so much the kink at the bottom that would help, but I think if there was a way to raise up the pedal so that I won't have to roll my ankle so far in order to blip the throttle when rev matching.
The pedal is so far down and so skinny, it just doesn't do the job.
