ewww that new blue color gags me...looks damn near the same as that nasty ass neon color...doesnt even seem to have much of a shine

The only time my car looks purple is when it is very dirty (almost never) or when it is illuminated by a flash in the 2500-4000 k range. like taking a night pic of the car with a low temp flash or tungsten light source.
also another explination of the purple could be in the 'eye of the beholder' no two people see the same color exactly the same, especially when the range streaches to diff parts of the world. ex. some africans cannot see blue the way northern europeans can... the intensity of the sun causes a yelow film to develop over their lense which distorts blue colors... preventing the eyes from sensing saturated blue colors.

I just keep my car nice and clean and waxed and stay clear of warm light!

I stopped by the dealership to have a peek around DAm$$ they had a 2008 blue flash metallic LS they are already out i thought i was going to have more time to save up some more money. I didn't look to bad but IMO i like the Lazer Blue Mettalic better but its like a light blue with like a purple metal flake in it.
