I paid 17900 for a brand new one that stickered for 24200. It was there gm show car and my dealer bought it back from gm. No trade in no hassle.

Hey Acidangel_5.0, I've got a friend that lives in Dacula, and his wife backed into my SS/SC in their driveway (she said it wasn't her fault because the car is a dark color and it was night time, red is dark?). She's a nut behind the wheel, so if you see a 2001 Malibu with a blonde behind the wheel (most likely talking on her cell phone), keep a safe distance...

Seeing those prices makes me mad I chose my 2,4 SS. I got mine loaded for 17k walkout. I thought that was a deal so I took it. Now I see people getting the S/C SS for almost the same price.

But I just tell myself that maybe one day I will throw a turbo on, plus I already put to much money into the car to trade it in for a 2.0

Still makes me mad though, maybe more jealous than anything, lol.

when I bought mine brand new it cost me about 21k after tax. That was with a $500 rebate and $1,500 down.

All I got was the power sunroof. I didn't want the XM or OnStar. LSD wasn't available at the time because it was a special order on all 05's.

I have a Loan for 24,500 on my SS/SC. I put down $2,000.00, I got the exact car I wanted, every option including G85 and XM. I would have loved to get it for 19,000. But I still think i got a good deal on it. I feel that the Cobalt is a 25,000 car.....

You guys should probably buy my next car for me...lol

so since this has turned into a price debate i was wondering how much someone could get off the sticker price of a s/c ss of ~22k if the payment was paid in full? (no financing at all)

what about a ss n/a of about ~18?

and yes i understand it depends how you deal with the salesman, but what would you guess if any?

btw new poster, but ive been looking through these forums and many others for a long time.
