Please Read! Need help/advice ASAP!

Hello everyone, so I sold my 09 ss/tc as a fund to purchase paintballerr78 2010 ss/tc with all the upgrades I wanted (upgraded turbo, upgraded clutch, and 4.45 tranny just to name a few). Well, long story short, he told me he was going to pull a dent out and replace one of the sensors first then he will sell it to me but that was about three weeks ago! Since then I've sold my car and have been car pooling to work and this guy is just straight up ignoring all my text messages and calls! It's like he slipped into a black hole or something! He is not replying back to me so I was just wondering if any one on here knew him and can get in touch with him for me. I need to know if he still has it up for sale or not. If he already sold it then I will keep looking, however, if he still has it and want to sell then he needs to pick up my calls and answer my text messages!

With that being said, if anyone else on here have a ss/tc with the upgrades mentioned above want to sell their car then please let me know as well. Here is a link to paintballerr78 car.

Thanks for any help!

If he doesn't want your money, then walk away. His problem for losing a customer on his car. Guy should learn how to sell cars.

I would walk away but if you look at his post, he has some really nice mods and it's selling at a great price! He has pretty much everything that I am looking for. Only thing missing is upgraded pistons. LOL however, I wish he would at least have the courtesy to tell me if he sold his car already or not instead of just leaving me in the dark. Also, as of right now, there isn't any more cobalt for sale that has those parts that I want. My last cobalt was full bolt on and trifecta tuned at 23 psi and it was a lot of fun, but I want more power! It will cost too much to do it on my own and it will take way too much time! That's why I just sold my and saved a few extra grand to purchase a new one! I never should've sold it yet until he was ready to sell the car to me. I guess I rushed it and this is what I get.

Why the hell would you sell your car before making sure this deal was set in stone.

I thought it was because he confirmed it with me. He told me it was mine after he fixed the dent and replaced the sensor. Now it's been three weeks! I didn't want him to finish everything and wait for me to send him the money either so I went ahead and sold the car to try to speed things up. Sigh....

So does any one know this guy?

I wouldn't jump into that mess if I were you. He says it's been babied since day1 but has 10 passes on those tires alone. Bad sign. And judging from your previous posts about being not very knowledgeable with cars you're taking a risk here jumping into this beast.

I'm one of the few people happy with 300whp in a fwd. Reliability FTW.

If you buy a car from a member use the forum as your friend and research ALL his past threads. I just started for a second and a bunch of warning flags come up brah.

You've got a lot of sifting through threads and the little that I did warning signs popping up all over. He's in the Military, so I'm betting his car sits for long periods of time than gets beat on.

Some of you guys are so dumb when it comes to buying used cars. It is a modded car, it is made to get "beat on". If you do not have the knowledge or money to fix it, go buy a base model something. If you buy a used car that was made to go fast, perform, and be fun then you are an idiot if you expect that the previous owner did not use it for how it was built. Smh.

Lesson of the day don't say it's "babied since I got it" when it is far from. Smh.

Thanks for all the help everyone. Let's make one thing clear though. I don't care if he took it to the track 20 times because that is what I plan on doing when I get it too. Lol thanks for pointing it out though. I appreciate your time and concern. However, I do agree with what everyone else said, if he built it to perform than I would be a fool to expect him to baby his car like he said. Who would build a 400+ hp car to baby it? Anyways, I think ill be going with the summit white zfr tc since he slipped into a black hole and decided to just leave me hanging.

If the car was built right, I really wouldn't worry if it was raced. It's what it's made for and what the op will be doing also. Fun fact, most of the people who bought used cobalts I can alsmot bet were beat on at one point in time.

Which car? The summit white or the silver metallic I originally wanted to purchase?

The original one. Check Paintballers thread history. It's the first thing you should've done when considering buying his car.

Ok so it looks like I will be going with this Summit white ZFR SS/TC. Here is an official good bye to my old full bolt on (not including suspension) Victory Red SS/TC. Sigh, I will miss her. The previous owner claimed the tc rims were stolen off the car so he replaced them with the sc ones. Other than that everything was pretty much bone stock. I bought her a year ago and since have been taking excellent care of her. Definitely molested the crap out of her but who can resist man. LOL Mods were: Dejon CAI, Dejon top charge pipe, ZZP FMIC, ZZP lower charge pipe, HKS BOV, MPX whole 3 inch exhaust kit with muffler and resonator, Megan racing catless DP, smoked spyder halo ccfl headlights, a few stickers to make it look faster (LOL), and Trifecta tuned at 23 PSI. Not sure if I'm missing anything but it was a blast. Hopefully this new ZFR one won't disappoint me.
