Question Possible to drop in a LNF engine/tranny in a cruze eco 1.4?

Wondering if it will work. Would like to turn a cruze into a sleeper.

Sure. With enough work and money anything is possible.....Why would you want to make a cruze sleeper anyway???

Everything would work with custom work? solid mounts, tranny, k04, manifold and chargpiping would to be custom. It looks like there's alot of room to fit a LNF.

Do I know for sure. No. I have no clue what the engine bay looks like or what the room is. You'd have to measure it out. But 99% of the time if you have enough $$$ and know the right people sure. You also have to remember that you would need to completely rewire, swap ecu's. To me its a complete waste of money and man hours. It would most likely need to be completely custom as it probably won't mount to existing mounts either. Possible maybe. A completely overpriced build that won't give you anything really special....

Problem is you couldn't run the LNF PCM connected to the Cruze network, so you would run into all sorts of other stuff not working. Not worth the hassle in a cruze.

Lol hey find me someone who didn't think this was a stupid idea. I'm all for a sleeper but you'd be better off having custom rods/pistons and a turbo than trying to drop a different engine in.

I've seen threads like this on Cruze talk and they all said to just go buy a Verano.

I've though about getting a Verano and doing an exterior cosmetic swap to a Cruze RS, I honestly find the RS cruze more appealing (externally) than the Verano.

anything will work if you throw enough money at it.

but why. cruze is ugly, and there are more capable motors to swap...
