Powell Race Shop is....

AWESOME!

Long story short I bought about $740 dollars worth of parts from a person on CSS, and received the hardcore rear sway bar without a bracket.
After contacting the seller he told me he had taken care of it and spoke to Gloria and that one was being sent.

About 2-3 weeks pass and I never received the bracket so I contacted Gloria and she let me know how much shipping and pricing would be for the bracket.
She was very understanding and empathetic toward the situation and made sure to take care of me.
She even apologized for the situation as she knew i've been waiting for nearly a month to get this sucker on when it was not even her fault!

I've never experienced customer service like that.
The fact that she discounted the part and was understanding blew me away especially since I was prepared to just pay normal cost.
Definitely one of the sweetest ladies on the phone as well.

Thank you Powell Race Shop for giving me one of the best customer experience i've truly honestly ever had. That is hard to stumble upon now a days with so many people readily willing to screw over others.

You'll definitely be getting my repeat business on some tow hooks and some of your other goodies soon. For now I just wanted to spread the word and let others know how awesome your products are. PS. I previously had the hardcore sway bar and sold it.
It's high quality stuff and doesn't compare to any sway bar out there.

Also - I previously searched for a vendor forum for powell and did not find one. So that is why I'm placing this in general cobalt. Mod's feel free to move if needed.

Thanks!

edit- or call them. Ph: 905-985-1600

Powell RaceShop.com
for some reason they don't have a cobalt section, but you can contact gloria or john directly.
they have rotated mounts, rack spacers, tow hooks, harness bars, and I believe they have a lower frame support. they also do installs in the good ole'
I've seen them do stuff from every day installs to brembo install and drum to hub/ caliper conversions.

I asked John for help with my dual pass project and he helped me out and even sent an extra part free of charge. When I get back in a Cobalt/Redline they will for sure be getting my service again. Great company!

I keep hearing all this great stuff, makes me want to spend some money, but one problem, and I dont think its just me, not many people know what products you all have for the cobalt. I didnt see anything for Powell under the vendor section.. So a quick suggestion, you should make a place that informs people what they can purchace from you

Powell sells parts by word of mouth. Great products and great people kind of sell themselves. ;-)

I bought some control arm bushings from them the other day when I saw that mine had ripped. Very great, quick, and polite service from my experience. Gloria was very helpful.

yep lol... technically thats the proper name but most people know them as under car rails. john and i are good friends and he makes great stuff. his mounts held up great in an 80mph front end impact..... unfortunately one is unusable but it took a semi hitting me at 80 mph to do the little damage it did to the mount. the other mount snapped the provision coming off the motor but no damage to the mount was done.
