Ordered another box. Went with the black this time as I'm hoping I don't go blind handling the stuff!

@Snail_SS Would you be able to unlock my posts in this thread for me? I want to combine the images into the main post to make it easier for people to access.

I wasn't expecting this for another few days, but it already came in!

Spoiler

Additionally, I think I'll need to do something about the driver side door with it completed. I went outside of the door panel itself to help cut down on additional vibrations but with the silver it looks...tacky. debating if I should cut it out or paint over it.

Finished passenger side door. I tell ya, just sitting in the car is a lot quieter. Additionally, I knew I only had 1 sheet left of the silver matting, but it went a long way. Used 2 sheets of the black.
Spoiler

I nearly forgot to take photos, I just wanted to finish and get out of the hot sun.

If anybody wants to know, those front speakers are JL Audio C2-650x speakers
My rears are JL Audio C2-690tx
Spoiler

Thanks! You did a great job on your trunk, so this would be easier for you. I just set up a chair, couple of beers and started away at it. Although you have a garage so it would be a little cooler for you.

Pop-up tent and some sandbags would do wonders. Throw in industrial fan or two. Golden. I have a garage and carport, but the fan is a must have, imo. I can't work without mine.

I started another visual project, but I'm leaving that offline for now until I can further the project.

The next project!
Spoiler

Note: NEVER use cheap sandpaper. I did the front and half the back with the crap stuff I had left over from ages ago... Switched over to the 3M, 1/3 the time sanding. I have more pictures but I'll need to go back to my desktop for those.

Edit: Rim 1 completed.

Looks good! I pull my wheels once a month clean them. I agree, 3m makes a really good sandpaper. Thats what I have used on all of my resto projects over the years.

I will have to buy more. I hit it with 60-150 for the rough spots, 180 over the whole thing and now doing 320 over the whole rim. I need to find a place for a day to get them painted in the day after I'm done.

If you have a compressor and a gun its not hard to do them at home unless you want to powder coat them. We have shot cars in a garage before.

Do y'all have the rent a garage up there? We have them in the US and its nice if you don't have one. They aren't that expensive to use either.

I'm...not sure; I'll have to check. Otherwise, I'll need to drive a couple hours to a family member's house and use their backyard at least to paint. They have the tools at least to complete the project. I figure if everything goes well, I should have all 4 rims ready for painting this weekend. I also purchased a couple months back 2K gloss clear coat so it should give that extra sheen. I still need to paint the badges as well, and I think that will be it for this year.

As for the rest of my sound deadener, I'll need to watch a couple videos on how to remove the carpet and such to do the floor and as much as the firewall as I can reach. I still need to work on the subwoofer box and get all that installed.
