Ok. Today seems to be a great day to fix the last rim, so I'm going to be doing that this afternoon. I have an appointment Friday morning to have the work done. I honestly can't wait to see how these will look on the car!

Thank you! I'm very happy with them; they look so much better than the other set. I'll try to get a couple more pictures this week in better lighting. I still have 3/4 box of sound deadener, I just need to look up how to remove the carpet. I also need to pick up a black hvac controller to finish off the look. I'll also have to keep an eye on the weather, now that it's been either very windy, or just too cold to do any other painting projects. I wouldn't mind getting a better ebrake handle, and I should update the shifter to a short throw.

I haven't done anything extra, it's still been too cold. I'll need to take my rims out of storage at some point in April (weather pending) and see how badly the clear coat peeled. Otherwise, I do plan on doing the rest of the floor and as much as the firewall as possible with the remaining sound deadening material I have.

Just an update, I did get my summer rims on, and they are in what I consider pretty bad shape. I'll need to completely redo them. I'm also having an issue or two dealing with flooding randomly so currently paused for updates.

You ought to have them powder coated. They can do some crazy paint stuff with it. Hope you get the flooding taking care of as well.

I think I'm just gonna take another crack at them. I'm going to order some new rims probably in August as 2 of my winter rims are bent. I have planned to do more sound deadening to the rest of the floor and the firewall, going to take some measurements to see if an Android headunit would fit, and repaint the interior trim (or at least clean up the clear coat). If I get some additional time, I need to replace my shifter boot, and maybe paint the centre console.

Decided to revive my thread, as I finished painting my new summer rims.
I bought a 2" sander hook and loop kit from amazon, it was $35 for a 300 piece (60 grit to 3000 grit) with the drill adapter and 2 foam pads. Quite frankly, I was surprised at the quality of the sandpaper while working on the curb rash and flaking of the rims. I did take them to get sandblasted locally which they did a great job on.
End-ish result:
I did apply 2K clear coat on Saturday, I'm just waiting to see the reaction as I let the paint cure in the sun for a couple hours. It was completely dry to the touch when I cleared it. And of course, a couple pieces of pollen, and a fly landed on 2 of the rims but wasn't much I could do.
Since I also had left over 2K in a can, and didn't want it to go to waste, I decided to finally tackle my headlights.
Next is to paint the interior trim again, but will be doing a colour shift green to purple for that.
