Question Question about 2.4 SS

Things i have been hearing lately give me the impression that the 2.4 SS will look different than the SS/SC. Is this true? I guess i do not need the big wing, but the body kit and wheels are very nice. Also, will the susspension be the same? This cars apparent handling is what originally drew me to it. When i heard that it out-slalomed the Z51 C6, i began to seriously consider it.

I think the front bumper looks like the sedan. NO fogs and no ground effects, no wing, i doubt the wheels will be the same (18's) and doubt the suspension will be the same. But the 2.4 will not come out this year so i guess no one knows for sure (only the 2.2 coupe).

I guess i should clarify, I am interested in the 2.4 SS coupe? Will this still look like the SS/SC coupe? I think it would be wierd if it did not look the same and perform the same, because then they would be just slapping on the SS name. Thanks.

This is the SS N/A concept:

As you can see it has the likeness of the regular cobalt coupes, the SS S/C has its own kit. The front bumper looks like it has a mesh grille although, and it still sports SS badges.

Hey thanks. I have not seen those pics. I think i might like that more than the SS/SC. The wheels are also nicer. Hopefully it will look like that

Those wheels (and the car) are pre production. They will most likely never make it on the production model.

Ahh ok
Well obviosly it is the CONCEPT but somewhat of what it will look like. I believe they will go with the same idea, incorporating alot of the Base features, with the 2.4 engine and SS ameneties.

I think another important fact to bring up is that the 2.4L SS won't be a coupe, it'll be a sedan with 170 hp.

There are plans for both coupe and sedan versions of the SS with the 2.4L Ecotec.
