Question for balts with sunroof

My dealer just replaced the sunroof on my car and it doesn't seem right when you open it. When you lightly push the sunroof switch is it just suppose to tilt, and than when you push it harder it slides on to the roof? Right now when I lightly push the switch it does nothing. I don't think that is right.

ya position one (light pressure) tilts the sunroof. position 2 (all the way pressed) puts the sunroof all the way back. if its not working correctly then you need to take it in and get it relearned for positions

Mine is just noisy as hell with it closed at highway speeds. The tilt feature works.

Yep, light push = tilt, full pressure = all the way back.

Thank you all. I was pretty sure that's how it was when I bought the car. Well have to wait till Monday to phone the dealer. My dealer replaced the track, motor, and glass. Don't know why they wouldn't have done the switch as well. Apparently a cable was stripped which is why it wasn't working properly.

I hate the button, wish they were one touch auto like the drivers window.

That would be nice. The only thing that would be better would be the switch always working properly.

My switch does not work at all. Went to replace it with a new one. Still doesn't work.
Where is the fuse for the sunroof motor located in the passenger foot well ?

Fuse is under the hood on the right side as your looking at it (Driver's side) That black plastic box where the red cap for the battery post for the jumper is the fues box. It has little latches on the sides and should snap open easily, and pull up. The inside of the top is labled so finding the correct fuse should be easy.

off topic a little bit, is their a recall at all about the sunroof? cause both my cobalts have broken sunroof mechanisms. i fixed both of them by having only 1 side running the sunroof, but when they go im **** out of luck.

I have the 2 options. One time the tilt feature didn't work for a minute, but that's because I was ******' around with my sunroof bezel when it fell off for the 50th time. Krazy glued that ****!

I have no idea about an interior fuse box. I Thought the one under the hood was it.
