Question for those with the Ingalls ETD installed
So I installed mine today, set it to roughly 10.5mm just to see what kind of a difference it would make and HOLY ****! I can get the wheels to chirp even going 3rd to 4th. It makes my car shift sooo smoothly, it's like driving a different car
However, I am getting insane vibrations when idling and throughout 1st gear, and engine noise is coming through my car like no tomorrow. I only have the stock SS/SC exhaust and I can now hear my engine over the exhaust even when both windows are down and the sunroof is wide open.
Will setting the ETD to 12mm make much of a difference with the vibrations and noise? I've read that a lot of people set it to 12 and get zero wheel hop. Or is dynamat for my firewall and struts the only way to stop the engine noise from leaking into the cabin?
If anyone with the ETD installed can give me some tips or has found a nice balance between wheel hop and noise, pleae let me know

I dont think i even noticed any vibrations at all....just a little more throttle response. Too bad when i was cleaning the motor for my show i notice i had bent the bracket a little

Its not like Ive done anything wrong, in fact theres not a whole lot you can mess up installing the ETD.
I made sure it was 100% parallel to the engine so it wouldnt bend, and I tightened the nuts and bolts on the mounts to the torque specs Denny listed in his how-to. I made sure the brace fit perfectly inbetween the mounts.
I set it to 12mm yesterday to see any difference and it still rumbles a lot when idling, and the engine noise is still rediculous... Its more of a mechanical whining noise whenever I step on the gas (its not like the whine of the supercharger, its different).
I dunno maybe Ièll pick up some dynamat and see if it helps. Hell Ill even slap some on the ETD brackets.
