Rareness of my Balt??
can anyone tell me how rare my cobalt is? like how many were made and ****??
I got an 07 ss/sc
Factory gunmetal wheels
NO Sunroof
Xm
High Rise Spolier
Sunburst orange metallic
Heated Seats
I think that's it
From what i heard, they only made sunburst orange metallic and gunmetal wheels for like 2 months in 07? Correct me if im wrong... And i also hear that having no sunroof is also kinda rare...
Im just curious about the numbers and if my car is kinda rare

On top of what they said, GM hasnt released specific cobalt build numbers. So its really not possible to say my car is 1 out of X.
No, its an economy car. Its like saying one day neons will sell for a **** ton of money. Sorry man, aint gonna happen.

there will be ss turbo sedans for the 09 model year. and regardless, a production cobalt will never be rare. it's just a cheap economy car, and anyone that doesn't have one pretty much thinks it sucks. harsh, but the truth

I think you are right about that color being made for a short time, the suburst orange and the blurple like the one "07 SS/SC" has. I'm saying this because before I bought my 07 on May last year, I went to the Chevy website to "build my Cobalt" and the only colors available were rally yellow, victory red, black, and I think one of the blue ones, dark blue I think (cant remember what's it called). And as for the sunroof, that was and is still an option for the Balts. So No, your car is not rare.

I saw one of those on sale around me not to long ago. I have never seen a cobalt that color since. I thought it might have been one a customer had painted or something. Didn't think that it was a stock color. Thats kinda like the really dark blue Ion Redlines that was made in 06 or 07. They were painted that color by accident, only like 6 or 7 of those.

silly kids. Rare is a slant nose Porsche, rare is a Bugatti Veyron, Rare is a Pagani Zonda, rare is not, has no, and will never be the Cobalt.
TV auctions are the ruination of the car collecting hobby. Now everyone thinks a car with a special badge is going to be worth money or is rare.

but im talking about an 07... i thought they only made orange for like a month? and the 07 rims are different than the 05 and 06 rims, and they discontinued the gunmetal wheel when sunburst was discontinued...

And to answer your question. Theres probably no way to find that out except possibly contacting GM and giving them your vin # or somethin if ur that curious about it.
