I found on GM.com where you can email them in regards to production totals.
Granted there is a thread similar to this in the 2.0 LSJ board, but after searching their website thought I'd let everyone know.

here are some rare cars you wouldnt think about
86-87 z24 cavalier convertable- only 3 ever made
sunbird gt turbo wagon- 1 built
89-90 grand prix TGP, mclearen 3.1l turbo- around 2000 per year
now they are very rare, however they arent collector cars and it doesnt make them worth more than what something similar is. however people in the communities specific to those cars know how rare they are and would pay more than the average person might expect, but not anywere near what they cost new. the cobalt ss/sc and tc will be similar to them, people will pay a higher price than many would expect just to have one 20 years down the road, but its not like they are an investment. specific options like sunroof or heated seats also wouldnt really change the value down the road.
if you want a car that will be worth something in 20 years, pick up an srt6 crossfire, 09 challenger srt8 manual tranny (they canceled production after a couple months), or a zr1 vette.
