Rear Taillights

Hey i want to smoke my taillights but i have no clue how to get them off i can get the trunk ones off but the outer two i cant figure it out, i have 2 black plastic things on each in my trunk that look like if i could get off the trunk liner will come off and i can get to the lights but those plastic things dont twist off...

Backup Lamp Assembly Replacement

Cover, Backup Lamp

Tip
Press the tab on the cover to remove from the decklid.

Nut, Backup Lamp (Qty: 3)

Tip
If only replacing the bulb, turn the bulb socket assembly and pull out of the lamp assembly. This can be done from inside of the rear compartment lid, without removing the lamp from the vehicle.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Tip
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Tail Lamp Assembly Replacement

Nut, Tail Lamp (Qty: 3)

Tip

i have no clue what you are talking about sry but all i am trying to do it take my 2 outter taillights out so i can Smoke them with Nightshades Spraypaint but idk how to get to the taillights to pull the whole light out.

You'll likely have to pop the plastic trim around the bottom of the trunk opening (clips, should pull right off), then peel back the liner and you should have 3x 10mm nuts holding the lens assembly in place. Once those are off the whole lamp should pop loose, you might need to nudge the bolts attached to the lamp to crack it loose from the inside.

My car you just twist off those black screws outside the liner. Then pull back the liner and you will have 2 more 10mm nuts to remove. Unplug and then pop the lights out. Pretty easy.

Thanks ill try the black things in my trunk and see if that will get me to wear i need to be Thanks again.

black screw things pop right out.... its pretty easy...should work for ya
