Say girlllll

You lookin' foine.

Thanks to my buddy SSlobalt for all his help yesterday.
We started off the day by taking off my two rear rims and taking them to get new tires put on. Then we installed a Dejon intake, hot and cold side on this Kappa :

Then we plastidipped my rims and cleaned my car.
It's only temporary though. I'll be powdercoating them soon if the tc rims will clear the brake kit I want.
He said he'd never seen my car so clean.

yup.
i'm actually going to get a new bumper this week.
i got backed up into at a parking lot by a truck with a trailer hook.
they used an aftermarket ss bumper and then didn't do the two tone paint I had on there.
so i complained because the aftermarket fits like **** (even when I took it off and tried to fix it) so they will be installing an oem one and painting the two tone paint on the top grill bar and the lower grill area like it should be and are re-doing the lip so it'll look like it used to before.

Going to go with the 09+ cstv brembo setup since I sold my brembos a year ago.
Fronts are 6 pistons and rears are 4 piston.
I know so far they will bolt up to our cars but I'm waiting on spec sheets this Tuesday to determine if tc rims will clear them or not.
If the spokes don't ill just get spacers and studs. If the actual caliper doesn't clear the inside of the wheel then I'll just need bigger rims probably.

I could just go with the 07 ctsv brakes as well which are 4 piston brembos all the way around but I don't know yet. I'll figure it out soon. If I went with the 4 pistons all the way around I'd be able to keep my tc rims.

Brand new Front 6 pistons are about 340 each (dealer cost)with the pins not included.
The rears are the same for all ctsv '04+. Even the front 4 pistons ('04-'07) do allow for a bigger rotor than our stock tc brembos so even the older front brembos are better.
You can find an older ctsv 4 piston front and rear set for about 350-400 for the whole caliper set.

They all will bolt up. It's just a matter of clearance (only applies to 6 piston fronts) and getting a custom rotor drilled.

I went to a meet a while back on my 650r with banta (white ss) Scott (black quad4 cavy) and Juan (white saab). It was pretty dead haha. Our meets at frys off Parmer gets packed and there's plenty racing going around.

Last night...
I raced a 93 cobra with a 100 shot and ate it. A bugged eyed sti with bolt ons and a tune and ate it up. Same with an Evo x. Full exhaust mods, with intake and a tune and tore it a new one. Videos will be posted soon. The other dudes all recorded them. Also raced a Honda with a t3 .50 trim turbo. it did alright, but wasn't close to winning....Videos will be around soon. They all recorded them so I'm just waiting for them to send them.
