$600 and what....300-315hp 330-350 ft lbs?

Lets see an SS/SC get close to that.
303 hp 2.6 m62 100 and e85 80lb inj 150 hundred bucks exh 350 and and dosnt run out of fuel your point being

once you reach a certain point the cost of modding a tc is a lot more then not to mention you can turbo swap a lsj for under 2 grand and rape the bag from a tc you can do a tvs for less and still do the same the point being hp per dollar the lsj is cheaper

Not everyone wants to do that much work. oh and by the way, per you, E85 is not a cooling mod so you are saying drop pully to 2.6 with no other cooling mods and be done with it at 303hp? what LSJ hits 303hp with just 2.6 E85 and exhaust? the motor will take a major beating with that much heat.

much work? it takes less than a hour to swap pulleys, and injectors. header and dp on an lsj is like 1 hour doing it slow. with a heat exchanger and tunning it for E85 on a good tune you should see 285-295whp. thats all you need.

maybe for someone whos done it before, but it does not take that long for someone who isnt mechanically inclined.

listen, i know you hate LNFs. thats fine. I could care less. he said he wants over 300hp. not 285 hp.

I don't hate lnf's but he can slide a used tvs on for 1500 or less and make over 300 its relative but once you get your 300hp tune on an lnf its rather spendy to start making more power with them the lsj has a lot less short comings and e85 isent a cooling mod its a fuel source

dude i dont hate lnfs, there a cobalt just like mine

its lnf's owners ego that from a tune they swear they own the world haha

ive riden and seen fast lnf's but where i come from, LSJs are the fast cobalts. In fact some lnf's gave the rest of the cobalt crowd bad rep bacause they had a tune and they went ahead agaist the world saying everything else was slow until they started to get there feelings hurt

try closer to 350hp-400 ft pounds.

The brakes in the tc are miles ahead of a lsj as well..

yea but you only make it for 1000 rpm then its gone (just poking) and the brakes are an easy remedy to fix

LSJ 8 to 9k
LNF 13 to 15k

Money saved from buying an lsj could go into a turbo kit to make 400whp lsj.

To the O.P. Do you have easy access to E85 in your area and a good tuner? If so for not that much more than you have in mods now you can be at least at GMS1 SS/TC numbers and could even pull on one... full mod list on video IRL is on E and M62..
