I'm sure if this could go anywhere there would be thousands of ambulance chasing lawyers that would start a law suit

OP you're upset that you've lost money on the resale value? Yet you purchased cheaper than some people who had bought used SS's in the last 2 years. You'll still be able to sell it for 15k quick, 3.5k loss over 3years is nothing on a car. Never buy a Cadillac if you're worried about resale

The cobalt was worth 50% less than what you paid WELL before any of these recalls. lol.
