you can plasti dip your wheels and then hit them with a gloss clear coat. thats how my evo mod is as well as my bow tie. works great to be honest

each can is 23 bucks plus shipping?
plastidip is 6 bucks. 24 bucks (you need 1 per wheel. so 4) covers your wheels.
get a can of clear and your set.

plus plastidip has been proven, years and years of product research..autodip is? how old?

so, if the listings says GLOSS BLACK, assume is gloss. but if it just says RED, its not GLOSSY red? so in same boat as plastidip "matte" colors?

looked over their FAQ. nothing close to plastidip.

I like the glossy black, but appears that's the only advantage..i don't see any other advantages.

Yeah, I'll stick with plastidip. The price can't be beat. This autodip stuff is probably just starting up and they need the funds first to cover the expenses of creating the product before they can drop the prices, but that'll only hurt them in the long run because most people will still go for the plastidip over them.

If you ask me, real paint, is the best paint. I don't like plastidip or any of that fake peel able stuff.

Well not just for wheels, they just came out at sema 2014, and this stuff is amazing. I'll post pics up when I get my car back but I've been spraying the interior trim. And ya a little on the pricey but so far I'm am more than impressed with this paint. Dries quick, easy to spray, gloss right out of the can. Next I'm gonna do my wheels gloss black.

real paint is also a much more labor and cost intensive process. you can dip a car for 300$ or so. we're about to dip my friends bmw rx7 and boat since he got a bunch during the last sale DYC had.
