SS Badge
Hey I want to replace the Chevy bow-tie that's on the front of the car with the SS badge that would match the other ones. Anybody know where I can order one or just go buy one? 2006 SS/SC if it matters.

go to your dealership or buy one online. get that exact size. now the thing is when you take that bow tie off there will be four holes there and you will have to cover them up. what i did was get small plugs and paint them the color of my car and placed them in the holes then stuck that badge over top it looks good and you cant even tell the plugs are there
*edit* by exact size i mean the size of the side of the car

Well I cant find any of the trailblazer SS with the color of the cobalt SS one.. So I found the GM cobalt SS ones on Ebay for $13 free shipping. Transferring money to paypal now and ordering asap.. Will post pictures when I put it on.

I considered completely debadging the rear and using that SS on the front, but decided to take just the bowtie off the rear, and I'm going to paint the front one black to match my car (and prevent it from clashing with the polished aluminum grilles I ordered).

that looks very nice. how are you guys getting them to stick to the grill? glueing them or what? they dont have the nipples to go thru the bowtie holes obviously. and do they kinds stick out far and may get ripped off if say your washing the front with a mit or something?
