SS Badge

Hey I want to replace the Chevy bow-tie that's on the front of the car with the SS badge that would match the other ones. Anybody know where I can order one or just go buy one? 2006 SS/SC if it matters.

Replace with:

go to your dealership or buy one online. get that exact size. now the thing is when you take that bow tie off there will be four holes there and you will have to cover them up. what i did was get small plugs and paint them the color of my car and placed them in the holes then stuck that badge over top it looks good and you cant even tell the plugs are there

*edit* by exact size i mean the size of the side of the car

Ebay. The stock size one does a fine job of covering up the holes.

Yeah because the stock SS badge is 4x1" and the Chevy bow-tie is 5x2" so I wanna make sure it would still fit right and look good :P

I considered completely debadging the rear and using that SS on the front, but decided to take just the bowtie off the rear, and I'm going to paint the front one black to match my car (and prevent it from clashing with the polished aluminum grilles I ordered).

Whichever of you bastards outbid me on the big badge pair that went for 14.50, I hate you (a little bit).

Shoot me a PM, sell me the second badge so we can both be happy!

that looks very nice. how are you guys getting them to stick to the grill? glueing them or what? they dont have the nipples to go thru the bowtie holes obviously. and do they kinds stick out far and may get ripped off if say your washing the front with a mit or something?
