So why would I want a base model cobalt that's has the same power and less torque as my cavalier? Why build that when I could build my cavalier (which I already own). I also never said my old cars have power. I did grow up with a car that has more power and torque than my SS does.

I'm all for no replacement for displacement as well, but Everyone's making the base model Delta's seem so much worse than they actually are. There's NOTHING WRONG with tuning a 2.2L or 2.4L Delta. Personally, I find the fun in the journey and the reaping of the rewards. Not just buying the the car tuned and enjoying it. It's somehow not as fulfilling.

There isn't anything wrong with building up a 2.2L or 2.4L. I don't know why, but they just weren't all that appealing to me (well the 2.2 anyway). Since owning my SS, I would like to put more power into my cavalier (doubt it will happen though). Everyone has to start somewhere. But at the end of the day, if you love your car, it doesn't matter what the hell it is.
