I have the option to get a 2006 yellow sc that is in PERFECT condition with only 43k miles. Or i can get a 2009 red turbo that is 400 dollars cheaper and has 80k miles. Not sure what the condition of the turbo is. Im torn because the turbo is newer and faster, but i love the rally yellow and its in great condition. I plan on modding/building. Which one should i get? Please help

Really depends on what you want out of the car.

If you plan on heavily modding and the SC has the G85 take that.. but if it doesn't and you just want to leave it as is you'll be happier with the TC

It would be a no brainer for me.... take the car with fewer miles and build it.

These cars are getting to the age where I'd only purchase a low mile stock car, because most have been abused my little kiddies.

Agreed. If the SC is low miles and STOCK... and in mint shape... that'd be my choice. Why chance there being something wrong with the higher mileage car...

You can always mod the heck out of the SC and make it fast. TVS ftw!

I'll agree with what the others said. Don't get me wrong, I love my turbo, but a low mileage clean stock car would be a lot better starting point. I'm also a bit biased towards yellow :-)

Also, if you do decide to build, you can always replace the supercharger with a turbo, if the itch to go faster happens(and it will).
