Talking Stage 2 Vs 2000-2002 z28
Ok so I got a question. I have a 05 ss/sc with stage 2, injen intake, And magnaflow exhaust. My girls uncle has a 2000-2002 z28 with intake and exhaust, manual tranny. The question is who would win from a roll ? like about 40 or so. Dont care about dig cause I know he would hand it to me. Thanks guys

you'll get a good jump but once the rpm's get above 3500 for the z28 your toast. thats assuming he can drive. i had a 06 ss/sc with s2 and now i have a m6 z28. and my z28 is stock and it's alittle faster than my cobalt. the faster you guys go the harder the z28 pulls. good luck

i dont know how much faster the 00-02 is from the ls1 in a 98 but i inched on one with a 6speed with the same mods you have, havnt raced one with the 2.8" pulley on, but the one i raced might have been stock, and i had like a 1/4 tank of gas hah.

He is going to beat you pretty bad, I'm guessing by at least 5 car lengths....LS1's are nothing to play around with...need some more mods to keep up IMO.

i don't think he will beat you by much... i only lost from a 10mph roll to 85 with a ws6 trans am by 1 car and thats 330hp..he is much faster with his gears then that z28..i think if you had maybe a smaller pulley and cooling mods..u might just squeek by

Over 60mph is where the LS1's shine. 60-130mph is where they will pull like a train.

It's going to take S2, Header, DP, Catback, 2.8", 60lbers and a nice CAI to walk away from LS1's at high speeds.

x2 if your not winning by 80 your gonna get pulled by 4 cars , your gonna be at his rear bumper by 80 and then hell put 3-4 cars on you by 110

these people in these camaros/ trans ams must not know how to drive , if you can drive one they will pull a cobalt hard
