Steering Wheel Swap: is it possible?

I was looking at pictures of the Sonic and Cruze and was wondering if it would be possible to swap their steering wheels into a Cobalt and maintain function of the airbag? Radio/cruise control?

What would it take to do something like that? Ballpark cost? A Cruze 2LT steering wheel would look very sharp in our vehicles, thanks for checking.

I'd even pay cash to get an '07 wheel in my '06... looks and feels much better IMO.

I'd say the feel as far as cheapness is about the same... I like the way it looks and the shape of it with the bar thing down the middle is more comfortable for me, I dunno.

Yeah but I like how on the stock wheels there's a puffy bag of air that pops out when you crash into something.

No one has done it. Can it be done? Probably. Will have to make your own harness most likely.

Dont you know the golden rule of car modification?!

:::::::::::::::golden Rule:::::::::::::::::::

Anythings possible, with enough time and money

and I still maintain that the 05/06 wheels look/feel not as "cheap" I dunno, something about the feel of those plastic caps on the sides bugs me whenever I drive my parents car.

I am not familiar, wiring harness? Steering wheel harness? I was thinking if its like a 300-500$ situation then I'd consider doing the wheel swap. If its north of 800, its not worth it.

The pre '07 steering wheels look like they belong in a TrailBlazer or truck or something.

I've always though the 05-06 were an eyesore, good thing mine was an 07. I don't see how the 07+ could look or feel cheap in comparison of something that looks like it could have come out of a 90's Monte..

I kind of get what he's saying in the sense that the steering wheel buttons are a little more robust and less...plasticy...but that doesn't change the fact that they look like complete poop.
