suggestions.. exhaust question.. NOT model specific..
Hey guys,
So, I was wondering something. Story first, question second.
I have a GMPP Performance right now on my 2.4. It has a good bark to it, but the drone gets a bit tedious at times. A friend of mine threw a glasspack on my Olds the other day and I was pleasantly surprised at how NOT loud it was. I'm not sure on the brand, but it slightly looks like a Summit one.. Regardless, the deal was for two mufflers. I have one left. So I was considering (upon suggestions and input) on retooling my exhaust situation. Actually swap my GMPP exhaust with a stock SS system (so the GMPP doesn't have to be destroyed) and then hack the stock set up..
The idea would be to run the glasspack for a resonator in the middle, then run either a Thrush Turbo / Dynomax Super Turbo / universal poop tube on the end. I'd assume the poop tube on the end wouldn't quiet it down much (with exclusion of adding a silencer), however Turbo mufflers are often very quiet. So I'd assume the glasspack resonator with a Turbo muffler on the end would make a nice tone. A growl and good flow from the glasspack, and the Turbo muffler would keep it to a reasonable level.
Anyone do this or something like it? Hell, anyone even use just a Dynomax or Thrush Turbo on their Cobalt yet? Again, this is not model specific and am not looking for just 2.4 results. I would like input from anyone.
Thanks for any suggestions guys!!

Theres been a few people who have used one , just do a youtube search. I'm actually thinking of doing it myself because i already have clear image header and down pipe with my stock exhaust.
