Switching doors

I have a 2007 cobalt LS base model and recently I bought a LT model that I have been using for parts. I was wondering if I could switch the doors since the LT has power locks, Windows, and mirrors? I know I atleast have to put the fuses in for everything but was wondering if there is more that I will need to do? Thanks, any help is appreciated.

I doubt the LS model has any wiring for the power locks and windows.

You would need to add all of the power window motors and switches. Everything.

The doors I'm putting on the LS already has the motors and switches, I was just wondering if the wiring harnesses from the LT doors will work when I plug it into the LS car (after I put the right fuses in)?

The harness should be the same for all cobalts if both cars had power locks or windows

There may be BCM differences for the central locking system, but it's worth a shot. The windows should be largely self sufficient, so if they are powered by the car harness everything should work. I don't see why the locks won't, but because they have remote locking it usually runs through the body computer. They may work just fine from the switch once plugged in though.

I would see if you can simply unplug your installed doors and plug in the other door without installing it. If the connectors are long enough, that would be a quick and sure way to find out

Well figured out there is a completely different wire harness that connects to the doors wire harness. I'm gonna have to switch out the harnesses or run new wires for the existing harness so everything will work. Was hoping it would be a simple swap but never is lol.
