Switching out stock pioneer sub help please.
Hey everyone, I am looking to switch out the stock Pioneer sub for a better aftermarket sub using the same enclosure. I know it is a shallow mount 10" sub, but I am looking for a little more specific help.
I would like something that hits harder with higher quality, will any shallow mount 10" sub fit?
I was thinking of getting an Alpine SWR-T10 for it does anyone know if that will fit in the enclosure? Or would you recommend something else that is better?
Thanks for the help guys I really appreciate it. The amp I have is a 1700w mono Kenwood. that will be powering the sub.

Get a better box.
But if you really want to use the stock box, you'll be better getting a 10" ring extension to add an extra 3/4" to the mounting depth. it will also give you a bit more box volume and fresh holes to mount it on.
Pretty sure the alpine S fits as is though, but you need to remove the bolt inside the stock box that holds the sub in place.
