I've had nothing but good service from them..
I'm surprised to see this, and even more surprised to see the BBB rating..

I'm definitely disappointed..

Now where am I going to get my TVS? OTTP let me down, and now zzp ?

Why is it the 2 biggest vendors on here have the worst reviews? i know, they're cheaper. And Cobalt owners are mostly cheap. I'll pay more to make I get my part and don't get dicked over. Threads like this is why I don't trust almost any of the vendors.

It's always been hit or miss with me between ZZP and OTTP. It's either super fast response/shipping or i'm waiting weeks for a part, neither stand out to me as better but it's all we have.

shipping took a while with ottp, but they also never ignored me.
they always answered called and emails and let me know as much info as they knew.

yea i tried to have others call me. i asked matt to call and zoom, but no luck.
i even called zzp and tried to get through and just left messages. weeks ago.

Just because he's having issues with them doesn't mean there a bad company. There two sides to the story. There are more + feedbacks the negatives from zzp.

i never said they were a bad company.
just have incredibly poor customer service.
are also quick to blame others instead of making the situation right.
as i've said before their products are quality products.
they do good research and work.
i've bought a lot of their **** and got it quickly and never had issues.
i also never had to contact their customer service before though.

From reading the emails and stuff. It sounds like some one dropped the ball somewhere. It sounds like there was a bit of a misunderstanding some where. I never could find any of them from ZZP saying that it would only be 3 months. It also sounds like both sides got frustrated at each other.
But makes me wonder if I should get this
INTENSE-Racing.com: 2005-2007 Cobalt SLP Long-Tube Headers, 1-3/4" w/Installation Kit/High-Flow Cat/Downpipe

instead of this
Cobalt & Ion ---> ZZ Performance

Only reason why I hesitate, is because the note at the bottom saying that
it's for "Off Road Use Only"

yea, thats where the whole pm's come into play.
the agreement to send the rpd was done over pm's here on cobaltss.net.
i was told it'd be 3 months.
anything beyond that and i wouldn't have ever sent it.
however the timing is not the issue anymore. i've gotten way past the fact it took 10 months. just upset that the rpd and pillar were returned in poor condition. i've already looked past the fact that last thursday i was directly told a prototype pod with 2 holes would sent and instead got my stocker. i was under the impression my stocker would be destroyed too as per the original pm's. i'm guessing this one is in poor condition because it wasn't the one i sent in.

off road use only means that it isn't catted.
as long as you can pass emissions without a check engine light you'll be alright.
i got my car passed with no cat.

i'm working till 9 tonight, so i'll be going to a ups location to drop off the box with the rpd in it tomorrow.
zoom was nice enough to send me a gauge pillar in the mean time to not have it just open and exposed.
hopefully they can tear mine apart, and get everything working for everyone who has an rpd and wants to have an extra two gauges on there
zoom said it'd probably be about 3 months so be patient. its gonna look awesome.

i'm excited.
thanks zzp!

Insylem, the only reason it says "for off road use" only, is because catless is technically illegal because it won't pass an emissions check.

Subd to see results, hopefully this dispute is resolved

I actually hate to see any of this stuff with any of our vendors. These types of threads make me cringe...

As you know, these companies work hard to deliver quality products at very good prices. Its sad to see their name dragged through the mud over a small handful of bad experiences.

i have never posted a thread like this before.
i too hate when people post about this stuff bitching about shipping taking too long, or something small.
i asked for help many times from them and asked them to make it right.
once they started ignoring me, calling me dishonest and a fraud was when this was necessary.

the rpd experience doesn't apply as a whole.
imo they have quality products, but as of late bad support.
thats all this shows.

I'm actually suprised you aren't more upset. I think they owe you an apology and the parts promised.
