if it's hot, why wouldn't you just have the air on though?

but i've also noticed that it does cool it down nicely.

Did you have it adjusted at the dealer? Or at a dyno tuner? Or through a handheld tuner?

I'm still waiting for HP tune so I hope thats not what you used.

Just turn off your AC before you pre stage or you'll drip water . They are really picky about that at the track I go to.

it doesnt necessarily have to be hot outside for your car to run 220 degrees, i drive around in SD with my windows down and it will hit 220 sitting at the light.

did this yesterday and **** worked like a charm, it wont go above 186 for me!

yea, i thought everyone knew this? Sitting in traffic, just kick on the A/C and watch the coolant temp drop. Also do this at the track. I love seeing the fools opening their hoods like they have a super power engine that creates super heat just by doing 1 0-100 mph sprint. Chances are your engine is building up heat not because of the run, but because the engine is sitting still and saoking in its own natural heat. Try 67% of energy craeted by and engine is turned into useless heat...like 30% gets to the ground. damn inefficient engines...

Figured this out a long time ago... but +rep for actually posting it. It's good for when you are sitting in the staging lanes for the track too... helps combat heat-soak.

Where is the thread that showed how to jump the fuse box under the hood to keep your fans and I/C pump on at the track?

^^^^

wop on tour made that..

i really.. REALLY need to get on that...

its like having an electric water pump... only for the intercooler system...

we could all benefit from his wiring schematics..

i believe he wanted $100-150 for the whole custom wiring kit/switches and whatnot

I dont need switches, I just want to know what I need to jump across to power the I/C pump with the car off. I remember seeing it on here a long time ago, but I can't find it.
