its not to bad, for what i lacks in power compared to the cobalt (which is easily made up for by software) it makes up for in pretty much every other way. lol

Nice car, I am thinking about doing the same upgrade.. Is that a 16? DSG or 6 spd?

I am stuck between the Fiesta ST and GTI.

Much better investment decision by far.

Have you ever driven a GTI with a DSG?

I was not a fan, it is a completely different car than the 6 speed. It is very delayed, you put 1/4-1/2 throttle down and the car just thinks about what it wants to do. You have to really step into it to get it to down shift. The programming is very conservative. And when you put it in Sport mode it is just jerky and feels awkward to drive in traffic.

I would go R or GTI with 6 speed for sure.

FiST and GTI are two different cars. Fiesta is more of a car with great handling characteristics like a go cart. GTI with performance pack is a similar comparison to the FiST.

But the price of the Fiesta is tough to beat, GTI is a more livable car though.

Congrats on the car!

Good choice. They really are excellent cars for the money. I was very impressed with the handling of the chassis and how well sorted the interior is. Light years ahead of the Cobalt IMO, or at least my SS/SC.
