Tire Pressure - 30 or 44?

The other day, I noticed that my front tires seemed a little low so I decided to check them. The dealership gave me the little screw on tire monitors and they showed to be green but I checked anyways. All 4 tires were down to 25 psi so I checked the pressure on the side of the tires and it said 44 psi max. And on the tire pressure information on the door panel, it says 30 psi. So the question is, which one is it supposed to be? I aired them up to 32 psi. Thanks

I run a tire shop and we put most tires at 35 but i keep mine at 32 also. The 44psi on the side of the tire is the max pressure. If you put 44 in the tires the car will ride like ****. Hope this helps.

Yeah, a few pounds above what the door panel says is usually good. I run mine a couple over for daily driving. Just adjust them to where they feel comfortable to you, if the car doesn't feel like it's turning well or the drive seems off then add a few more, if the car feels to stiff take a few out. I just tinkered with mine a little bit until I found what was most comfortable for my driving style.
