TMPS Sensors

I currently have an 07 SS/SC but before i traded in my 09 LT sedan i took the TMPS sensors off the tires is there a way for them to work on my 07 because i know that they didnt really start it till 08 but i figure with the Cobalt guru's knowledge there may be a way around this...

Not that I know of but why would you want them??? They are a pain in the ass and go haywire every other drive you take . They are more trouble then they are worth ...... just throw a little tire pressure gauge in your glovebox.

Nope, pretty sure it's a system built into the BCM. Put a tire pressure gauge in your car, pretty much same thing. I never use my TMPS anyways, too lazy to reprogram sensors to the correct wheels, tire rotation messes everything up. I ain't got all week.

You can easily reset with your alarm fob...if ya don't wanna do that, just figure out which tries go where by changing pressures one tire at a time and then mounting on proper side of car. OR...just make a mental note of which is which.
I can tell you they do help. If you get a flat with TC low profile tires, you will NOT be able to *see it* very well! I had my sensor go off the other day and I was shocked that the tire was actually *flat* at 15lbs! Still looked pretty normal and felt very firm as well. I checked with my hand gauge to make sure...yep. Turned out to be a loose valve stem. Now I know why they have em.

"Put a tire pressure gauge in your car, pretty much same thing". ...

That won't do you any good when you're DRIVING and go flat. That's exactly what happened to me.

My reply was to the guy with the TC who had the system on the car. You don't have it.
I wouldn't bother.
