Top Gear > Cobalt SS/TC?
I wrote an email to the show a while back and obviously didn't expect a response. Just suprised that the SS/TC was never featured on the show Top Gear even briefly.. i mean come on does it have to be sold in Europe to be seen? I know it's no longer in production but when it was it's performance on the nurburgring should have caught someone's attention over there. I would have loved to see what it could do in their test track in the hands of The Stig. I've seen lesser cars featured so what gives?
is anyone as disappointed as i am since this could have boosted chevy's performance reputation in other countries?

it was on top gear, James may drove it, only over there, its called the Vauxhall Astra VXR and it has cool light changing instrument cluster when put into sport mode.
It was also featured on top gear again for their hot-hatch special. In which Jeremy Clarkson criticizes it for having too much power for a fwd car, and demonstrates this point by attempting to turn after going much too fast for the turn, sending the car skidding off.

you guys must be new to the car world so I won't waste a whole lot of time trying to explain to you that the sheet metal and plastic around your car are not what defines it. In the global market, most cars are identified by chassis code or type, then subcategorized by engine. Saturn is owned by GM. This is due to the different markets selling under different names. For example, the Holden Murano, sold here as the pontiac GTO, has the same chassis code, yet look significantly different. Hope that helps. Heres a fun one for you, can you guess what the Ford Falcon is sold as on the US market?
