Traded my LS for an SS!
I just traded my 2007 Chevy Cobalt LS (Laser Blue Metallic) for a 2008 Chevy Cobalt Sport (SS ) (Black)
I didn't have any features with the LS. It felt like a hollow shell....
I have EVERY possible feature for my SS! It feels like a LUXURY CRUISE!
I am absolutely wholeheartedly 100% re-in love with this car! I just wanted to let you all know that I'm every bit as happy with choosing the Cobalt today as I was a year ago.
-Aleckor
EDIT: It has every feature available (that I'm aware of) for a 2008 Sport (Except the SS badge because they discontinued putting SS on them) - It has full leather interior, XM Satellite Radio, Onstar, Dual front/rear/curtain airbags, chrome interior accents, 7 speaker +subwoofer pioneer sound system, cruise control, radio controls on the steering wheel and satellite phone on steering wheel too. It has 17" high polished aluminum wheels, pirelli tires, fog lights, a little mini-body kit all around it including a bigger back bumper with 2.5" exhaust tip chromed with chevy logo on it.... the leather seats are heated. Power everything, locks, windows, sun/moonroof. Tire pressure monitor that now comes standard in all 2008 Chevy vehicles now.
I'm probably missing a lot of stuff that it has, but I'm pretty sure it has everything available. I couldn't be more happy.... It really feels like I'm taking a luxury cruise to the bahamas or something. Very fun to drive.

I know how it feels, I had a stipped base to before my 2.4... and it really is great, looks 100x better and feels like a decent car inside instead of an econobox. Congrats

dont call it an SS... The 2.4 should never have worn the badges, so it may have been demoted, but it was never up to the job in the first place....
Nor was the 2.0, but thats a whole different thread.....
Still Hell of an Upgrade!!

The manual windows do indeed blow.

Yeah I didn't think I would like the black until I actually spent some time with it. The dealer wanted to sell me so bad that they let me test drive it for almost two days, with no obligation. I fell in love from the first 30 seconds but I didn't tell them that. I wanted to show the car off to all my friends at work and see what they thought too.
So the sales guy personally delivered it to my work and took my LS back to the dealer with him. Hehe.
