my uncle worked for ford, and now works in a mustang salvage yard type place, that fixes mustangs/tunes them.
The ups of getting a stang:Shitload of parts, they're ******* everywhere in junkyards and on the road!
The downs of getting a stang: You're going to need a shitload of parts, my uncle drives a chevrolet corvette, of course, and he says mustangs are one of the crappiest put together cars out there, he said "i'd rather drive a kia"
and to celica^ you can make them 9 second cars, fairly easy

Yep. haha. Around here there's two. A black one, and a dark blue one. Both stock, but I still laugh eveytime I see it. There's also an old guy who has one. haha. A dark blue one too. Low-pro spoiler though. Keeps that **** clean!!

Well I got it today, 2007 mustang gt. I will have pics and review tomorrow. I must say, world off difference. Also, I must say I love the clutch to death. Grabs any gear with pure authority.

It's an 07, he should be runnin a low 13. Still gonna have a tough time with early 2000 Camaro Z28's and SS's especially if they got work. Early 00 Camaro Z's and SS's run a 13.3 and lower bone stock.

And if you think Im joking im not, my friend has a 07 mustang and he barely wins cobalts that are SS/SC have fun with turbos. You WILL lose. Its not a more powerful car trust me, its actaully weaker, and before you say im being a ******* its true, I had a mustang my mom has a 07 and a 64 1/2. I had a 99 35th anni edition, and I had nitrous and barely beat cheaper cars in races, all your going to get for this is a $500 car payment and a raping after people wise up and turbo there 2.4's, 2.0's get twinned, and 2.2's get turbo'd. But whatever makes you think its better I guess. Good luck.

mustangs are sick, as soon and im close to paying off my balt (4 years remaining) or if i get a good deal sooner ima buy a late model foxbody 5.0 V8, nothing beats the sound of a cammed exhaust, the balt will be my daily driver so i wont have to worry about gas.i used to own a 85 stang, they are unreal, but 250kms per tank of gas that costs 70 bucks to fill is redic.

Evos are a waste imo, they are to slow if you mod as much as you can with the ecotec, besides our engine is made to handle alot more from what alot of people say. Besides did you read the Super Street article, where cobalt beat out a evo, plus more? End of story, its America's badass. I heard a saying today at work from a guy that wants to buy a Cobalt like mine, he said "I bet you could dump 30 grand into that car and still have 30 more grand to dump in". Sounds good to me ;D

I will be as honest as possible. There is no comparison when it comes to driving my new stang compared to my old cobalt ss. When I shift from 1-2 the car completly buckles and spins a good 1/2 a sec and slides to the left. On the 2-3 shift, it churps just like my cobalt did.

Yeah lets not forget that beautiful name comes with a big price. My car is well rounded, and I assure you in 2 weeks I will beat any GT that gets thrown at me, weight distribution is all thats needed after getting it breathing right, afterwards its just a matter of more hp+tune, its real cute when people are so naive they think mustangs are so godly. I really have no idea why that is. If you want an american muscle car learn to get it right, SS chevelle, maker? Chevy plain and simple, and I could care less about you saying hop off the chevy wagon, my entire family owns chevys/fords, nothing else. Unless you count the Harleys, but thats another story. The only car I would allow anyone to buy and talk **** about other cars being weak is a ferrari. Until that day, your car is no better then a geo metro. That goes for cobalts included.

To the person who asked what is so special about a 03/04 cobra its easy to make them a high 12 second car with just bolt on parts. Also fox bodies were excellent cars...what do you see alot of at drag racing events? Fox body mustangs. 5.0's are excellent to turbo and put the nitrous to as well. I would have a 5.0 92 mustang GT over a 99-04 gt anyday. Mustangs are muscle cars RWD is nice, enjoy it man.

edit: wait do you even have an ss/sc or are you talking about a 2.4?
