I think the biggest thing to eliminating wheel hop has got to be the motor mount. The rocking of the engine is what creates wheel hop in the first place. Pinning the motor down will help tackle the root of the problem and then perhaps replacing other bushings may be necessary.
I'd definately start with the motor and work back from there. It doesn't make sense to start anywhere but the root of the cause...

looking at the arangement of the mounts it looks like the tranny mounts would be most beneficial, cuz when you rev the engine it wants to rock towards the firewall, and the tranny mounts are in the front and rear so I would think theyd cut down on that rocking the most. unless Im missing something.

Well I installed my mount today and it only took about 5 minutes(literally). There are no vibes at all when idling. When revving there are more then stock but not much. It gives the car a more aggressive and confident feel as said before. As far as the wheel hop goes, I haven't been out somewhere that i can test it out(way to many cops here).

I just drove 8 hours with the mount and I still love it. The car feels so much more aggressive oh and I romped on a what looked like a stock SRT-4(40-110). It was good race, but he was starting to pull when we were coming up on traffic. We gave each other a thumbs up and went on our way. It was my first race in the car.

How does the mount provide this confidence? Is this because the engine isn't rocking back and forth when you engage or disengage the clutch, shift, etc..?
I really am starting to hate the shifting of my car, its like crushing tin cans through the gates and its jerky as hell. I hope this helps make the clutch and tranny feel more solid.
Any thoughts or experiecnes with this?
Thanks,
Ryan
BTW, I talked to Aaron the other day and he said that the stuff was on Backorder, but mine should be shipping out this week or next.

There are a few threads on this. Shifting the 2.0 is finnicky because of the light flywheel and the high SC torque. Just shift at 2500-3000 RPM for smooth shifts, and good gas mileage too. My last tank of gas was at 9.2L/100KM - better than GM's rating for the 2.2L, lol.
I've read all that kinda stuff and I follow it perfectly, regardless the SS doesn't shift too swell.
I'd just really like to know what I should expect from this sucker when I get it, it's getting hard to wait now!
Thanks,
Ryan
