The Wandering Cobalt!
In a recent thread people have been mentioning the fact that on the highway it's very hard to keep a straight line with these cobalts. They like to wander left and right. How many people have noticed this happen to them.

Never at speed has this been an issue for me. Only rarely at less than 5 MPH like at lights and stuff does it really come into play.
It happened once when I launched out of first gear, but the road was really shitty.

I've had this problem. It only happens to me at like 50-60 mph. Anything below that or over that i'm good. I don't know....maybe I just can't drive at those speeds lol.

It sometimes doesn, but that's mostly due to the winds we've been having here in MN. When it hasn't been windy, the only time it veers, is when I hammer it from a stop (torque steer).

I agree with Acidangel, tire rotation and balance plays a role, same with proper inflation. Also, with low profile tires, you'll have a higher tendancy to "grab" on to uneven pavement. Certain roads I travel on, it's a struggle to keep the car on the road because the pavement is so bad and the low pros just love to follow all those bad spots. More negative camber will have a similar effect as well.

I thought it was just my car or me. Glad to hear I am not alone.
I wouldn't say wandering so much, more like a very slight swaying from side to side coming from the rear of the car.
I was hoping when new shocks come around it would solve this for me.

I just went out to check my tire pressures. 32 psi in all of them except for the right rear.....38 psi!!! lol. That is probably, most likely what is causing it.
