Warranty Questions
Couple of questions. I just found out that the original 3-year warranty on my SS/TC expires next month (6/20/12). That said, what exactly is covered by it? I have no known issues (only had it a week), but I want to be proactive in making sure everything is good before the warranty runs out...would hate for it to start giving me problems as soon as the warranty runs out.
Also, I do have some grey paint fading on the center console near the radio. Is this covered? How about scuffs and scratches on the doors (hard black plastic part...not the vinyl) and emergency brake. Is this replaceable under the warranty?
On a side note, I have an extended warranty from Carmax which I hear is good. Anyone have experience with their warranty?

3 year 36k warranty is bumper to bumper minus wearable items (brakes, clutch, etc.) You still have a 5 year 100k on powertraing (engine, trans, etc.)
Carmax is a fairly good warranty.....i'm a tech at a chevy dealer and we get their stuff in all the time since there is a carmax right up the road.

Warranty won't cover scuffs / scratches and the like, any more than it will cover stone chips on the paint or in the windshield.
It covers defects in material or workmanship, not wear and tear.
