I can notice a bit more vibrations, especially at first but after the 160 mile trip home their already not as bad.

Picked up a composite black valve cover, never seen anything like it before.

It's amazing how much John knows about this platform not to mention the many parts he supplies that you don't normally see. Definitely going to be seeing his shop again over the next spring/summer, hopefully with the first Quaife F23 LSD cobalt.
nice you came good tomeet you, swap out that poly pass side mount and you will be able to complete the rotation....vibes reduction.

the f23 quaife deal is intriguing.

The one in the Saturn VUE would probably be the best to find the, I currently have the 3.63:1 and that would drop it to 4.41:1 final drive.

I know I'm lucky to have met them both Jeff and then John, I hope to meet both again in the future.

I won't be able to pay for it until at earliest March or April but I'll be saving up. I'll definitely be buying it just won't have the money anytime soon.

i have a couple of customers interested in f23 set ups, the quaife makes it all worthwhile, and for sure its no rush. I have to prove the concept first. INFE on here with Paul - G85blackSS- are putting an f23 in his turbo SS because the cores are so cheap he says 300. Thats a good starting point depending on how much work has to be done. If they are harvested cores out of a 140 hp n/a car, the gears should be nicely polished and ready to use...

Agree. That's one of the few things I've seen on this site that just made me say "Oh! Of course! Why didn't I ever think of that."

Well done.

Replaced upper timing chain tensioner, reinstalled valve cover, reinstalled front cover after getting all the broken pieces out and am currently putting her all back together.

This fix was not possible without the help from Slitterell so thanks out to him!
