Pick up those YYZ springs if you don't like the SSC/CM ones.

haha i definatly hear ya! im getting the itch big time.

i feel that with a basically stock SS, NLS'ing would be fine. now if you were tuned and all that jazz then id stay away from it, but it does get ya going once you do it.

Tijn Trunk Style or Trunk Options

I've got a 2006 SSC, just got the car back on the road from a complete rebuild, still stock though. I've been thinking of taking the spoiler off (highrise). How has everybody been patching the trunk holes where the spoiler was, and does anybody know where I can get a Tijn style spoiler/trunk.
Thanks

had a laminova core break (or oring go) and hydrolocked my motor after driving the car for the first time in 3 months. Of course I had just gotten to work 80 miles from my house. Took about and hour and 15 to get it back up and running, shot water about 10ft out the exhaust lol. Seems to be running ok now, but at least I finally found my mystery vacuum leak. Car comes apart saturday to see what actually happened in the intake.....

Installed SS/TC FE5 struts/shocks and Powell YYZ V.5 springs that I purchased from Crate Engine Depot. Very happy with the results, and I highly recommend both Crate Engine Depot and Powell YYZ springs.

My keyfob wasn't working well, I re soldered the battery and it was still un responsive, so I swapped the rubber feet in it with a random fob i found and it works perfectly now.

nice dude. i bought specD's halo/leds and kinda regret it. they dont exactly fit right and the LED placement over the lights has started to look kind of wierd in my opinion.

Installed my SSC springs on the rear. Pulled the fronts. I'm having someone else do that ****. I'm not gonna kill myself with a cheap spring compressor.

it is rather sketchy with the spring compressor tool i think your talking about. when i put sportlines in my old cobalt, it was sketchy as ****.

gotta figure out what to do when i put my YYZ's in, in the next month or 2.

I went to crappy tire, rented one of those double screw spring compressors for free and didn't have a problem with it, I trusted it and had never done ANY real automotive work in my life before that lol. Seems so long ago haha I was looking at the tool going "what arrrreee you?"
