Car is still sitting at chev waiting for parts for recall...2 damn months. Went to go look at it a couple days ago, rotors are all rusted out to ****. Not impressed at all. They saying they might not replace. I am probably going to sell it when fixed, so if anyone knows anyone looking let me know! 2009 cobalt SS/TC

Got most of the front end done. I decided to hold off on the fe5 swaybar until I dropped the subframe to do the engine swap. Had too much hassle for one weekend.
The one control arm bushing/subframe bolt was seized, of course. Vice grip method wouldnt work. Wound up grinding it out...
Victory!
The other side came out like butter. figures.
As for the replacement cartridges for my coils... passenger was butter, and the drivers side was seized to hell. Had to cut the strut in half to get the rings off. I drilled a hole to release the pressure, and then started cutting...
Got the front brakes all mounted up and ready to go. Just need to be bled and I'm set
12.2" vs 10.1"
I bought the front set used, but ended up getting new revised calipers. Still cheaper than a new set.
Mocked up with the wheel set on
The purple lugs looked good with the stock caliper, but I'm not feeling it anymore. I was going to get the calipers powdercoated purple, but I really like the raw look. Plus they are clear anodized, so it is way more durable than the powdercoat.
I'm going to the dealer to try and get a new bolt tomorrow, but i have one in the mail coming Tuesday... just in case. The rear shocks will be butter to replace, and then I just have to install the disc swap, and bleed everything.
