My under coating is holding off the rust well. But you have to re-apply the damn black tar **** because it does wear off in certain spots over the years.

They're cheap and have a lifetime warranty but stand there with them when they do the work to make sure they don't **** up your car.

Are they cheap? idk my buddy got one for $300 installed and my other buddy said he went to wooster glass ( a local glass place) and they installed his for $150 althought you have to take it to them.

I'll call both places and see what each has to offer. Does that lifetime warranty cover everything? like future chips and cracks?

Not really. I do changes at extended drain intervals. It was roughly a quart and the last change was around 12k ago. So a quart a year isn't too bad.

If you put more than 6 quarts in the lsj will burn it off. 6 quarts max, I know some argue 6.5 but that is incorrect.

6.5 qts is def too much.

6 qts in my car is between add a qt and the max fill level.

6.25 (which I measure out exactly) brings it right to the max fill line perfectly.

I found a gm service bulletin on the fill amount back in the day, and it said 6.25 qts for the LSJ (even though the owners manual claims 6 qts).

I will have to see if I can find it.
