I work right near 407 and Woodbine, so its only 5 mins from there.

Its a small store thats easy to miss if you're driving by.

They have a site: www.metroautoparts.ca

Put my new 17's on. Although I now wish I would have gotten 18's instead... They still look good though.

Pulled the car out of it's winter hibernation hole. It took a few days before I could do it as we had so much melting/freezing this year that ice is everywhere. Initially I was really worried as the car was idling very erratically and the check engine light came on.

Once I got the vehicle out of it's spot and into my garage I was able to pop the hood. I left it running as I popped the hood and the car started almost stalling. Turns out that the connection on the stock intake piping that goes from inside the fender to under the hood had come apart. After turning off the car I was able to easily undo the hose clamp, refit everything together and then tighten everything back up. Car runs perfect again and no more check engine light. No clue how that would have suddenly come apart.

Looking forward to doing some basic maintenance over the next couple of weeks before it hits the road in April. Things to do include full oil change, check plugs, clean TB, install new MPx shorty antenna, reinstall sunroof bezel, fix wonky signal issue (doesn't always turn off after turning right) and fully clean interior including steam cleaning rugs.

Had that exact thing happen to me driving home from work on Christmas Eve.

I had no idea what the problem was, and had no tools with me, 40 km's from home!

Dealer tried to tell me I had a corroded MAF, and that they couldnt remove my AEM intake without "Breaking it".....

Told them not to do anything and id pick up the car.

When they reconnected the intake, it ran perfect!

Then I went home and installed my stock intake, WITHOUT BREAKING MY AEM INTAKE!

F***'n monkeys at the stealerships I tell ya!
