I'm not sure about when I'll be done. Depends on my days off. The week of Memorial Day I get an extra day off so I'm sure I'll be working on it then. I also want to have it shaved as much as safely possible to reduce the combustion chamber size and increase my compression just a bit.
I really think closer to sea level my 200whp NA goal is obtainable once this head is done.

did my steering wheel badge with a ss one from motor city vinyl graphics...had to remove the air bag from cover and remove the badge without damaging it ...hammered the chevy symbol flat....sanded the aluminum badge, painted it black...and stuck the over lay on ...not to bad looking since I ordered the wrong size overlay lol. post a pic in images when I can

Not hard at all. Hardest part was getting my lower cp back on after i had my intake manifold off. The sending unit for the oil pressure is really small for these gauges so i had no problem with that. Daisy chain the gauges together for power/ground what not and run wires for sending unit. Pretty Simple

GM part number 15800140. Only symptom is little play in the steering wheel, the shaft has two u-joints in it, it's usually the lower one that goes as it's exposed to the elements, you can actually see/feel the play in the joint.
