[QUOTE=SR Tech;7544384.......baked the headlights apart and painted the housings satin black.[/QUOTE]

I need to do this too.

What temp worked good for you?

I know there are lots of how to's, but getting different experiences from different people always helps!

Replaced the shifter roll pins and cut off the weight from the shifter linkage, interesting (but small) difference.

Replaced my front sway bar. That was about a bitch to get done, but no more God forsaken bumping and grinding against my passenger control arm anymore.

Thanks! I've pretty much guaranteed that it'll rain now. We have rain predicted as well, but I couldn't wait anymore. It'll be in the garage in the evenings so I should be OK.

Increased my dwell a bit from stock in the idle area. Now the surging on E47 isn't anywhere near as bad as it was.

Nah, I replaced the bushings a month ago, but found out then that the sway bar was bent. Since these bushings were still brands new I reused them

Got rained on on the way to work. Figured it'd rain soon after the wash, but it was within 5 minutes of taking it out:-S

Yes, but I can't say I didn't expect it. And there's hardly any spots on it so I came out OK in the end. It was getting washed regardless!

Washed, fixed air filter, drove around tight corners now that front sway bar isn't bent as ****. turns out my mileage increased hugely between those two things.

Then i went and blew my sub

It's crazy how much the suspension can contribute to MPG's.

Putting my coilovers on gave me about 2 more MPG!

Was it the stock sub??

It's amazing man, i can drive normally ("Spirited" driving) now, and still get more in town than i would combined before. can't wait for CABs this weekend now lol.

Nah, the stock is still running off of the amp under the steering wheel, but i had a JL Audio 12W3 and i'm pretty sure the voice coils finally went, unless somehow the wires came unhooked from the sub IN box, and i wasn't hard cornering or anything so not likely.

I almost f*cked up my sub really bad.

I had removed the spare tire from under the floor in the trunk, and had my amp down there.

But it made the center of the floor concave in a little.

I opened my trunk one day, only to find my sub box flipped, and the speaker face down, pounding away with a piece of plastic jamming into the rubber surround.....

Almost sliced it to ribbons!

So I made something more secure that also gave me some trunk space back, lol

Man, I've had some fun driving before and have run into it slipping into that space.
