My friend told me to blacklight the car lol
Never said it was valuable. I tested it and it is just cheap metal, maybe nickel. Not silver at all.

Lol you should might find some interesting stuff
Have big plans for tomorrow, change transmission fluid, adjust my passenger headlight, clean the passenger sun visor I got from the yuck yard, try to get my tpms sensors learned, paint my calipers, if I have time maybe even wash and vacuum

Changed the transmission fluid, not many shavings and the color of the fluid still looked pretty good but its so much smoother now.
painted my intake and upper charge pipe from white to blue ( same blue as my retros)engine bay is dirty tho
changed spark plugs ( 2 of them where a tad loose so I'm glad I changed them)
cleaned the interior due to leaving the sunroof a tad open and the liner got a little wet, tighten a few bolts from the bumper (stupid body shop)
cleaned that sun visor I got from the yuck yard, but still need to install it.

GMPP clutch
Obx muffler
Airbox mod
Pushing around 12.5 psi
Raced a 05 Malibu SS yesterday and won with ease. Also keep up with a Chrysler 300 c with the 5.7l V8.
Have been looking for 3.0 pulley w/hub and 42lb injectors.

Removed the tint below my inspection/emissions stickers lol and detailed the car inside and out for a show tomorrow.

I washed mine and did the same. I'll be making LED rear side markers this week because I have two leftover Impala third brake lights sitting around. They are the wrong year for the third brake light swap and I can't seem to sell them so why not???
Nice i want that led swapped third brake light and if you pull of the side markers I would probably buy some from you

Thanks! We'll see how they turn out. Gonna have to chop them up to get the LED in. But I learned from my taillights so they should look better in the end. I'm all out of the third brake light swaps and I cleaned the junkyard by my house in Anthony out of theirs. I'm hoping to get to LKQ some time this week/end and get more. In my experience getting the complete housing is better than just snagging the LEDs. It makes install easier.

2000-2005 Monte Carlo.
Either will due for the third brake lights. The 2006-2013 Impalas have the brake lights for the side markers, which are only like 6" wide. I paid $10 for the complete third brake light I think. Maybe it was $15? As long as the price is $15 or below it's worth it.

hell ya if you can get that to work id be down to get a set. The rear side markers are the only exterior lights on the car i haven't changed and they look shitty as hell. I have an impala brake light as well. i changed it out with the one you sold me because one of the LED's is out. ill have to see which one to tell if its salvageable or not

I researched researched and all that, made it harder than it was.
bought a led light from ebay for 21 bucks, swapped into my housing, done!! no joke. like in 10 mins.
the more you think and procrastinate the harder you think it is...
once in your hands, BAM easy.
jesse: led side markers? links to see what your talking about. I might need me some..
I have colodududes inner leds outter k2s, and impala 3rd brake light already.....those might finish my setup!
