Changed the oil, swapped out new spark plugs for old ones to see if it'll resolve my misfiring issues.
Nope.
Going to have to just take the car to a mechanic, I guess.
Money is very tight, so if this ends up being an expensive issue, I'm fucked.

Decided to do a compression test today just to see what shape my motor is in...

2006
2.4
173,590 miles

145/140/140/140

Not too bad for the mileage. I don't know if I wanna slap a SC on it but, it could be worse lol

Hit a tire on the freeway yesterday left a mark on lip that I can take off easily but the fender wasn't so lucky, need some paint now doesn't look bad but still.

On the plus side I got a complete arm rest, and carbon fiber looking interior trim from a GT G5 that will be up for sale soon

What Have You Done To Your Cobalt Today?

Oh noes not the pearl!!!
Did a front crankshaft oil seal today and it wasnt that bad. After getting the plastic covers out of the way everything came apart pretty easily.
Im way behind on this thread though within the last month or two ive got a lot of work done.front and rear pads and rotors, springs shocks, struts, strut mounts, cabs, steering rack, tires and probably something else. For 120,000 miles car feels great just need to find a stock shift knob mine is losing its leather.

Yeah tell me about, was dark out and I was half way to a lane change and saw the tire I moved but I missed it by half a foot didn't even sound loud or anything but it made the damage it even made my screw for the side skirt fall off.

Wrapped my YYZ's to eliminate at least one source of rattling/clunking, lol
Notice how my V-beam drops all the way to the ground because of Powell's rear twisting bushings. They are such an improvement over stock. I'll post more about the spring wrapping in the YYZ thread.

Watch your brake lines between the chassis and beam

I've never heard that, but I guess it could. I've never run into an issue with it on previous cars either way.

I know; I quickly snapped this picture before jacking the beam back up a bit. I have SS lines so fortunately they are a bit sturdier than stock
