I got my tire repaired yesterday (after a sh*t show with one tire shop), and after almost a week of not driving the car, I drove her to work this morning.

Gave her some gas pulling on to the highway as well. Smiles.

Put on some wider wheels and tires. Went from 195/60R15 all seasons to 245/40R17 Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Loads of grip now.

Hit a raccoon or possum. Lower lip is detached, foglight is pushed out of the bumper, and lower grille is gone. Surprisingly no AC or coolant leaks. Still sucks though.

No rain in the forecast for me. She sits in the garage and only comes out to play on the weekends

Put brake fluid in it. Need to find out where the old went but there are no visible leaks. Then I plugged my EVAP because **** it.

Because inanimate objects need to learn their place.

It isn't dented anymore. I knocked it out.

Still trying to figure out why the car is dying while stopped. New fuel filter, plugs are fine. No excessive buildup in the throttle body. No vacuum leaks. It just goes super rich, then super lean, then super rich and dies.

Codes? Sounds like a missing MAF.

There haven't been any on initial startup, but that's not when the problem happens. It only happens once temps are over 120-130*. I'll unplug the maf and see.

Unplugging it won't make it happy. If you can see the air values with Torque app or something similar I would look at that VS rpm and see if you have weird dropoffs.

I have hpt. I looked at a log and it was doing odd airflow ****. So maybe that's my problem. Thanks! Don't know why I didn't do that sooner.

It's easy to look over the simple stuff. You should be able to just spray it off with MAF cleaner and be g2g.

Seems like mine is just drinking the brake fluid too; no sign of a leak anywhere.
