What Have You Done To Your Cobalt Today?
I was wondering if it was the weld inside the tube... The one on my long tube isn't great, I'm 100% sure they're still a far cry better than stock, and maybe I'm just being overly picky because I'm a welder myself. I'm not questioning the strength of the weld, its just that in a few spots the weld looks cold, and it sticks into the path of the airflow, maybe 1/8th inch. I'm just splitting hairs here...
I just know that when it comes to performance exhaust and air flow you want the smoothest path of travel you can get. When I change my v-band flange I may just take a die grinder to the high spots, call me ****.

It wasn't the weld inside the tube it was more the pipes folded over and blocking a portion of each exhaust port. I had to take it and conform the tubes to fit. I can see where exhaust would just eat away that section over time and create a leak. Not to mention your trying to gain flow not block it all off.
It was a black Friday deal so I am cool but I would never pay full price for that quality.
I installed a Redline Goods armrest cover today. Can't say I'm in a hurry to do that again... I almost gave up and threw it away. Super 77 adhesive is hardcore. It's not perfect but it looks ok I guess.
Drove it. Had an extreme cold warning today with the wind it was around -40.
Trans and suspension hate this weather. Barely goes into gear, clutch grabs at idle when warming and it rides like a wagon.
It's a pig on fuel too.

Yuck. I'll stick to my 80* December weather.
Well the car did 224whp and 200wtq, though I'm sure it should have been a few whp higher due to the way they had the car strapped down it carved a groove into my passenger front tire. That had to be good for a couple whp
I had my numbers (green) overlaid with my friends M62 LD9 Cavalier. He's using a 2.7 pulley to my stock pulley. As you can see the LD9 makes a decent chunk more torque, which is to be expected with .4 more displacement and more boost.

I just picked up a $200 LK9 (Saab B207L) shortblock. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. Might just rebuild it so I have a good spare incase I nuke the LSJ or I might just use this as an engine to start a build with. I also got a free pair of sunglasses and a 2.2L valve cover with it
Got my Blackstone Labs report back. Sally got a clean bill of health and the Mag1 oil I've been using in her seems to be pretty damn good. Especially since it is $28 for 6 quarts.
vacuumed her, then went to the beach....
asked her why she hates me even though I keep her mileage super low and treat her like a goddess (I think shes found out about my other love life with my 89' BNR32)
ordered moar parts
