What Have You Done To Your Cobalt Today?

Went to Cars and Coffee, then went home. Was going to replace my fog HIDS with new bulbs but found they weren't wired the same as my existing ones. Drilled an air hole in the bottom of each headlight, cleaned up the wiring and secured the ballasts (again). Serviced the Forge (again x3) and then wash. No wax today. Probably tomorrow.

Installed 2 Kicker 12's and Alpine 450 Mono amp, fixed the line converter wiring from the stock sub, tidied up back seat. Since its winter here, not much more is getting done till the snow is gone. Although, I am ordering parts every other week and just storing them in my spare room until spring

And thanks Sarah, I like this dealership and they did a great job helping me last time so I'm sure everything will work out well this time. Will post a status when I find out more details.
Oh and wish there was an option to extend bumper-to-bumper warranty lol
Update: Okay, steering column is faulty and new one ordered, should be about a week until it comes in, door handle is being replaced as we speak, pulling issue is apparently tire related and new tires are suggested ($880 for 4, no way I can afford that at the moment), brakes.. apparently GM has a bulletin out saying that is normal for "high performance brakes" to make this obnoxious squealing and nothing will be done about it, and the door strikers seem tight (I tightened them about a week ago lol) so that won't be fixed unless they loosen up again before the next visit.

Aleksey,
I know it's not quite the same and that there are different opinions on this, but as you're still within the bumper to bumper you would still be able to perhaps look into a General Motors Protection Plan. They vary in comprehensiveness and price and a good place to learn more would the the website: General Motors Protection Plan - Home Page
If you have specific questions, let me know! I'm happy to answer as best as I can.

Thanks Sarah. I scratched both bumpers (glad there's no dings) and tried to fix them by spraying over with a matching bottle of duplicolor paint lol. They ended up looking a whole lot worse. I oversprayed a little on my driver's side headlight so I'll have to replace that as well. Best Christmas present ever after driving the car the way it looked for 3 years.

Not really today, update for the last week: Saturday = installed R1 slotted premium rotors, Ferodo (F) and HPS (R) pads... Sunday = let the brake bedding process begin!... re-plastidipped my front wheels... ran out of time.. Monday = re-plasti dipped my rear wheels...
And today just enjoyed driving it to work and school. Friday taking it in to get my parking brake adjusted.

Going for a 3rd steering column (2nd one lasted about 2 months), pulling slightly to the right for past couple of weeks, bolts on door strikers keep coming out and making the door move up and down rubbing against the body of the car and making a clunking noise, chrome stuff peeling off the passenger door interior handle creating sharp edges and cutting my passengers hands and also take a look at the constant loud squealing coming from the front brakes.
And thanks Sarah, I like this dealership and they did a great job helping me last time so I'm sure everything will work out well this time. Will post a status when I find out more details.
